John Prip and Ronald Pearson sterling silver necklace on the original leather cord
Ron Pearson was a student under Philip Morton at Alfred University in upstate New York while John Prip was an instructor there. The two were involved with Shop One, an early and important center for the nascent crafts movement in the US
During the mid to late 1950s they collaborated on jewelry and metal ware projects and this rare piece is one of those joint works
